Lo Cotidiano
Tete Alejandre
Lo Cotidiano offers a different and subjective vision of a village, a place chosen by the author that serves as an excuse to establish a typological seriation of its particular architecture, of its forms and elements, of its personality, in order to safeguard the essence of what he believes to be unique and enduring.
The proposal traces a game with the change of scenery of everyday life in which the objects transmute and the characters maintain their behavioural patterns as if nothing had transcended. The space has been modified and although the alteration has been subtle in some cases, nothing is as it was. However, life flows, it happens spontaneously, oblivious to this metamorphosis.
A cat is a cat, a man is a man, no matter in what scenarios, on what territories, in what places. They maintain the essence of the "tempo" of things, of the commonplace, of the everyday. But the everyday is also timeless, as much as a cat resting on a railing or a man repairing his dwelling, and magical, like a building that abandoned to its fate has decided to grow, as if it were a flower, to become attractive, tempting the fate of those who observe it.
