Carmen Isasi

Born in Bilbao, Spain, Carmen Isasi holds a Fine Arts degree from the Valencia Polytechnic University and a Master in Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.

She is a multidisciplinary artist, her work is based on a process of permanent experimentation, incorporating different concepts, languages and medias.

She works in graphic art, drawing and photoengraving, collage, photography, video, installation and virtual reality.

She has received multiple sponsorships and grants from institutions such as the Ministry of Culture of the Basque Government, the Diputación and Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Community of Madrid, as well as awards in both her graphic and video works.

He has made numerous solo and group exhibitions, and participated in several international art fairs.

Some of her works have been purchased by institutions and museums.
